Scouring cleanser
1/4 C baking soda
1 Tablespoon liquid detergent
enough vinegar to make a paste

General Cleaner
Dissolve 4 tablespoons baking soda in 1 quart warm water for a general cleaner.

Buildup on bathtubs
apply vinegar full-strength to a sponge and wipe. Next, use baking soda as you would scouring powder. Rub with a damp sponge and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Grout Cleaner
To clean grout, put 3 cups baking soda into a medium-sized bowl and add 1 cup warm water. Mix into a smooth paste and scrub into grout with a sponge or toothbrush. Rinse thoroughly and dispose of leftover paste when finished.

Mildew Remover
Dissolve half-cup vinegar with half-cup borax in warm water.

Lime Deposits
use Distilled vinegar let sit and rinse

Naturally unclogging a drain
* 1/2 cup of baking soda
* 1 cup of vinegar
* 1 gallon of boiling water

Dip as much water out of the sink as possible. This was easy. I got as much of it out and then I waited for the rest of it to seep out. Next pour your baking soda down the drain and chase it with the vinegar. Wait thirty minutes and pour the boiling water down the drain. It cleared my sink up like a charm.

An extra tip?
If your sink is clogged because of grease, take 1/4 cup of salt and 1 cup of water. Mix it together and pour it down the drain. Follow it with 1/2 cup of baking soda and a gallon of boiling water. The salt will help erode the grease and clear it away.

These are only tips for a minorly clogged sink. If you sink is stopped up extremely bad, a plumber may be your best bet.

Microwave

A great way to clean your microwave is to boil a solution of 1 Tablespoon of vinegar, one cup of warm water and 1 or 2 drops of dish soap in a small microwave safe bowl.

Put it in the microwave on high for 3-4 minutes and let stand for 15 minutes. Then wipe the microwave out with a damp sponge. The steam and use of vinegar loosens up the build up in the microwave. The solution loosens splattered on food and deodorizes.

Refrigerators
To clean exterior and interior walls, dissolve 2 tbs. baking soda in 1 qt warm water and wipe all surfaces

Hey, I am just stopping by because I saw your post on Unexpected Bliss's Hair Dying question. Please don't give into the dimple piercing, I apprenticed as a piercer and dimple piercings leave serious scarring a TON of the time because talking, smiling, eatting, etc (aka everything face related) causes the skin to stretch.

The particular scars are called keloids and they will not be thr regular shiny scars but a scar that is a bump. She needs to be really serious to make that kind of decision.

Sorry to stalk you :P I just wanted to give you some ammo for saying no :P
