Ive been Christmas Tagged lol

Ok Niki here are mine hehe

1. I have a wizard of oz ornie that MUST be up every year, also 3 muppets that I have to have out, I got them in 1984 I think and have had them out every Christmas since I should post a pic eh?

2. I dont like peppermint, I love fruity flavored canes though Yum Yum

3. We give the kiddos peanuts and oranges every single year, my mom did it for me and now I do it for my kiddos

4. I want a wizard of oz tree, we will see if that every happens lol

5. My first Christmas music was an Elvis Presley Christmas album that I bought for myself lol, I loved him but he had already passed away.

6. I have 2 Chipmunk Christmas CDs that we play every year, I love them I think I might get them out first thing in the morn

7. I forced a prim tree on hubby this year, he wanted to put at least his Peanuts ornies on the tree but I told him we would get him a smaller tree and do a whole charlie brown tree, well I KNEW he wouldnt buy a little tree lmao

8. I would LOVE to have the traditional favorite Tamales for Christmas dinner, I have tried to make them but they SUCKED lol

9. I have a santa that I got from my grandma and grandpa (who have passed away) that tells stories. You put a book in his hand and he reads . I LOVE it and will keep it forever

10.we buy hubbys mom slippers every single year, thats what she wants and she expects them lol

11. My fav Christmas candies are Almond Roca, Peanut Brittle, and fudge with nuts

12. Im not done Christmas shopping yet EEEEEkkk

New Raggedy I made

I try not to sew much because it puts me in a really bad mood for some reason, the sewing machine is NOT my friend lol, BUT I always love what comes from it so I still try to do it once and a while, well here is a little cutie I made, she is from a Denni Doodles Creations pattern, I love her dollies because they look alot like the raggedies I draw, well, this gal is almost finished but I think I still may make her the shoes in the pattern we will see, I need to send her to her new home tomorrow , she is very excited!!

Ive been tagged by De to post 5 random things about myself so here I go

#1 I LOVE mexican food, I am half mexican and I cant cook mexican food very well but I certainly love to eat it lol, my thighs show it too lol.

#2 I LOVE TOYS! I love happy meal toys and even though my kids are too old, if there are toys I want I will buy the kids meal to get it haha, I also love old vintage fisher price toys.

#3 I dont talk on the phone, I hate it, I get all panicky and dont know what to say, i hate the sound of the phone ringing.

#4 I LOVE Pork Rinds (Chicharrones) Yes they stink and they look disgusting but I make hubby buy them for me all the time, Hey they are Carb free lol

#5 I love coloring books and crayons, I love to color and the cuter the coloring book the more I want it, I also love the show The Backyardigans and also Jakkers (sp?) SO cute

Banana Bars Oh MY!!!!

Delicious :D Moist and yummy. This recipe makes ALOT of frosting so you probably wont need to use it all, I like a pretty thin layer myself.


Frosted Banana Bars

2 cups sugar

1/2 cup margarine, softened

3 eggs

1 1/2 cups mashed very ripe bananas

1 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp baking soda

2 cups flour

Cream sugar, margarine and eggs. Add vanilla, baking soda then the bananas and flour. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake 350 degrees for 25-30 mins. Cool well then frost:

Frosting:

4 c. powdered sugar

8 oz. cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup margarine, softened

2 tsp. vanilla

These need to be chilled before serving and kept in the refrigerator but they won't last long.

Dec 1st Looking out my window

WOW did it snow last night, I knew there was supposed to be a storm but I didnt expect SO much snow lol, hubby had to shovel the driveway and now its getting all covered back up again because it is STILL snowing :D Lovin it today
